About Me
Hello and thanks for stopping by!

My name is Nola (they/she).
I am a psychologist (MA in Clinical & Health Psychology) and a psychodynamic psychotherapist (MSc in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy & Counselling).
Driven by my passion for psychology and psychotherapy, I created this platform to share my experiences, ideas and reflections. Through my content, I wish to promote a positive mindset in the combat agains mental health stigma.

I was born and raised in Warsaw, lived in several different countries, and currently reside and work in London. I have experience of working as a Clinical Director at a mental health charity, and a mental health worker at an LGBTQ+ charity providing individual and group mental health support and interventions. I work as a psychodynamic therapist and psychologist in private practice and for a number of other organisations.
Having lived and loved internationally myself, I am sensitive to the needs and struggles of modern-day expats. I'm also especially interested in topics related to identity forming and crises - across languages, cultures and continents, in different phases of our lives.

I'm mostly inspired by the psychodynamic approach in psychotherapy, although I am fascinated by many other takes on talking therapy. On top of my core interests - personality disorders, common mental disorders and psychological trauma - I am sensitive to LGBTQ+ specific challenges.

In a therapeutic relationship (as well as in any other relationship, really!) I value trust, empathy, authenticity and humor. I believe in human ability to evolve even in seemingly adverse circumstances and I am forever honoured and humbled by witnessing the process of change, healing and growth in others.

Privately, I can be found drinking very strong coffee, reading & writing, eating plants and being physically active - preferably in nature.
